| 1 | final | === Appearance & Crafting === Player Appearance: Talk to a cow in Bree — 315+ creature forms, free and permanent. Alignment changes also available (enables monk/barbarian, paladin/blackguard, etc.). Item Appearance: CEP crafting system, zero fail chance. Forge of Wonders (item enchanting — 3 tiers): Tagget's Smithy (Bree) — Low: 250k gp cap, 4 properties max. Open to all. Rivendell Smithy — Mid: 500k gp cap, 5 properties. Requires Elrond's Writ. Moria Forge — High: 750k gp cap, 6 properties. Requires Forgekey (from Balrog). Appraise skill (take 20) raises each cap up to +500k gp at Appraise 65. Cost = increase in item's assessed value. Disenchanting strips one property; no refund. Contraband: items over 750k gp or 6 enchantments trigger Pit Prison at Well of Eru.
