Scalemail
Scalemail is made by overlapping small, scale shaped pieces of metal much like a snake's skin. It protects well against slashing and blunt weapons, but piercing weapons are able to slip between the scales easily. It is heavy in comparison to it's protection and the scales scrape together while moving.
