Seed of the Elder Wood
A single dark seed from one of the elder trees of the vales of Anduin -- older, Naldor says, than the Shire and most of the names in it. It is heavier than it looks and faintly warm. You are to carry it through the wild lands until you have grown into it, and bring it back to Rhosgobel.
