Lord of the Rings (Module Information)
Welcome to "Lord of the Rings". ---- About this Module ----- This module will eventualy become a sever vault persistant world. Until that time please enjoy yourselfves and have a look around. This is primarily a Role Playing game so please act accordingly. You may choose to Role Play an evil character, but any slaying that is not legit will be banned. ---- About DMs ----- 70% of the time there will be a DM in this game to give out quests and take questions, complaints, and suggestions. Please feel free to email as well (jcaplette@lycos.com) ---- Resting ----- You will need provisions to rest. "Rest Provisions" can be purchased at the Prancing Pony Inn. There are no restrictions on how often or where you can rest. ---- Death and Dying ----- Special thanks to all the scriptors at Neverwinter Vault to come up with this great stuff. Ok when your character reaches 0 or less Hit Points, you will blead to death 1 hp per round until your reach -10 at which time you will expire and die. Once you have died you have the option of being ressurected by a fellow player. If you choose to respawn you will wake up back at the prancing pony. You will loose 35 xp per level. And 1 to 4 items on your person will be transfered to a lootable corpse at the location of where you died. In addition a small fraction of your gold will be placed underneath your lootable corpse for when you return. Don't worry no one can loot your corpse but you. This may seem harsh, but by many game standards and by life itself, this is simply a minor inconvenience. ---- Completed Regions ----- Bree and affiliate areas.
